Asdfmovie12 is the twelfth installement to the asdfmovie series. It was uploaded to YouTube on August 30, 2019.
Development
On October 3, 2018, Thomas Ridgewell stated he was "unhappy about the butt jokes" on his secondary channel, DarkSquidge, and confirmed an Asdfmovie12. He said it would come out between April 1 and May 30, 2019, though the release was ultimately pushed back. Ridgewell also stated he would be making a song about the SKATEBOARD COW. He said, like Asdfmovie11, it will be co-written.[1]
In the later end of June 2019, Ridgewell uploaded a link on the community tab of his secondary channel to buy RAINBOWS! shirts for LGBT pride, and he commented that Asdfmovie12 was still in the works.[2]
On August 14th, 2019 Ridgewell uploaded a trailer for "IT'S MUFFIN TIME", a card game based on asdfmovie characters. Like before, he commented on the video saying Asdfmovie12 will be released in "a few weeks time".[3] There was also a tweet saying Asdfmovie12 would come out on August 30th, but this could be false, you never know.[4]
On 29th August 2019, Tomska said the following on his Twitter 'very excited to release asdfmovie12 tomorrow got a bunch of really cool animators working on it and whoever finishes animating it first gets to see their work on my channel and a gets 15% of their next merch order.' confirming its release on August 30th. [3]
Not much news about the SKATEBOARD COW song has been announced, though. Stay tuned for further information regarding these videos.
